Hi all,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all again for our two recent concerts at the Bella Rose. It’s always great to combine our talents with other community groups and school programs to present these performances and to enhance the musical fabric of our communities.
Here are the rehearsal notes for Tuesday, April 1st

Here is a detailed list of our remaining concerts (and dress rehearsals) for the season.
Tuesday, April 15th- Combined concert with the Halifax Regional Arts Wind Ensemble and the HCB at the Lighthouse Performing Arts Centre downtown- 7 pm (Please note: we have a tentative dress rehearsal planned with both groups for Monday, April 14th from 6-7 pm in the Halifax West HS cafeteria)
Sunday, April 27th-Possible concert at Camphill Veterans Memorial Building-2 pm (This is the concert that was cancelled because of weather back in February. I have been unable to reach the recreation director at Camphill since that time)
Tuesday, May 6th-Kiwanis Music Festival performance at Mount Saint Vincent University-Seton Hall- 7 pm
Tuesday, June 3rd-Spring Finale Concert at Bella Rose-7:30 pm (Please note: we have a tentative dress rehearsal planned for Monday, June 2nd from 6-7 pm in the Halifax West HS band room)

Hi all, Here are the details for our concert on Tuesday March 25th with the Halifax West bands.
1) Concert time is 7:00 pm 2) Call time for everyone is 6:15 3) Our warm-up spaces will as follows     i) all woodwinds will be in the Green Room     ii) all brass and percussion will be in the Drama Room (1st room on the left in our hallway) 4) Concert dress is again all black with the band shirts. 5) West Bands perform first 6) West students will set up the stage and move all equipment before and after the concert 7) Our program order will be:     i) Syncopated Clock     ii) Windjammer     iii) Closer Walk with Thee     iv) La Madre de los Gatos
Thanks and I’ll see you on Sunday afternoon for our Chester Brass Band/HCB concert. Reminder of 1:45 meet time for that concert with a 2:30 downbeat. Looking forward to it!

Shared Chester Brass Band and Halifax Concert Band Concert Details Sunday, March 23rd at Bella Rose Arts Centre *2:30 pm s*tart.
1) Meet time for all members is no later than *1:45 pm* in the band room. 2) Set-up volunteers and Percussion section members please meet at *1:30 pm.* 3) Dress is black with HCB shirts (all-black for members without the band shirt) 4) Chester Brass Band will be on first so we will sit as audience during their set. 5) Please encourage family and friends to attend the concert. Admission is freewill. 5) HCB Program order is:

Hi all,
I hope you’ve all had a good break from band activities this past week and are ready to jump back into an active concert season for the next few weeks. I have enjoyed my vacation to Jamaica recently and am ready to get back to what we all do best, creating good music!
We have one rehearsal left this coming Tuesday before our shared concert with the Chester Brass Band on Sunday, March 23rd at 2 pm at the Bella Rose. Here are the details for that concert with meet times, set-up procedures, concert dress and program selections and order.
