Hi all,
We have managed, through Debbie McGuire, to book the Sackville Heights Community Centre tonight from 8 to 9:30 PM for our rehearsal.
I realize this is not ideal, but it does give us a chance to get a rehearsal in this week before March break.
The address for Sackville Heights Community Centre is 45 Connolly Dr. In Middle Sackville. FYI, this is where the Sackville Community Band rehearses.
Directions: Take Exit 2 off Hwy 101 (highway to Windsor) onto Beaverbank Road. At the first set of lights, turn left on to Old Sackville Road. Turn right (at 2nd stop sign) onto Connolly Road In 300 meters, turn left.
The Community Centre is at the top of the hill. It’s the 2nd building. The first building is Sackville Heights School.

Hi all,
It’s looking like it will be impossible to find parking tomorrow night at the West for our rehearsal so we are looking now at finding an alternate venue for tomorrow night. FYI, the Halifax Regional Arts Centre at Oxford School in Halifax is not available to us on Tuesday nights. Debbie is checking with the Sackville Community Centre and consulting with Jim Forde from the Sackville Community Band regarding available space there and equipment use at that site. Because we won’t know for sure about this possibility until tomorrow morning sometime, I’m asking all members of the Halifax Community Band to check your emails throughout the day tomorrow for information regarding this possible change. If it is a go in Sackville, we will inform everybody asap and provide details on location, parking and directions to the venue. Thanks and please stay tuned.

Hi all,
We have received information that there is concert in the Bella Rose Auditorium on Tuesday March 5, beginning at 6 pm. It is likely that parking will be challenging and we will not have use of the Green Room. Hope to see you at the HCB rehearsal in spite of this situation.

Also, a reminder to bring in your Funny Books to rehearsal to be handed in. If you removed any music from the Funny Books for the concert at Camp Hill, please put it back in the correct order (that means Red Covered Bridge should also be put back in the Funny Book).
