HCB Rehearsal Notes Tuesday April 28
Hello everyone,
A reminder to everyone that we have rehearsal Tuesday, April 28th at 6:30 pm.
*Rehearsal will go as follows:*
– Chorales – Mercer’s March (Passed out last week) – Egmont Overture – Earhart – Summer – Beatles – Curtain Call
*Soundtracks:* I have updated the YouTube playlist to include more of our current songs. Please take a listen here
*A few dates to keep in mind:*
– May 5th: We will not be rehearsing at Halifax West High School. We will let you know when another location has been decided. – June 9th: Concert date at the Bella Rose Theatre – June 16th: Potluck get together

– Chorales – Themes from an outdoor overture – Nimrod – First Suite – Summer (Cape Breton Idyl Movement) – Hockey Night in Canada – How to Train your Dragon
I think I may have mentioned a funny video about the Holst with someone getting hit by a percussion mallet? I meant to send the video along! I finally remembered. (Keep your eye on the bass drum player): Percussionist gets walloped with a flying mallet

This is an invitation to the upcoming Boardwalk Brass concert!
Attached is the poster, the band would really appreciate if you could share this with friends, students, colleagues or your community ensemble and come to the show.
The band has been working very hard and we want to make this show as big as possible.
