How you can show your support with the NYB
*The NSBA is excited to be welcoming the National Youth Band to Halifax.*
*April 21 – 26, 2024.*
The NYB Guest Conductor this year is Brent Ghiglione. He built his reputation in the development of one of the best band programs in Western Canada. His Collegiate Bands and Ensembles were multiple winners at major competitions. Brent is now Director of Bands at the University of Regina and performs with the Regina Symphony Orchestra. Brent will bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for music education to musicians at NYB 2024.
While in Nova Scotia, the NYB will be the featured guest band at the Atlantic Festivals of Music with concert performances on Wed. April 24th, and Thursday, April 25th at Mount Saint Vincent University. The NYB will also be travelling to perform school concerts during the week.
Their final performance is a *public concert hosted at C. P. Allen High School* with a guest band Glass Winds on *Friday, April 26th at 7:00 pm.* A Freewill donation is suggested at the door to help offset the costs of travel for the National Youth Band. All are welcome to attend.

April 27_ transporting them from residence at Mount > Saint Vincent University to the Airport. > > There are 50 students and 2 adults. So, we need as many people as > possible to take the burden off a few. Your help would be appreciated > if you have a van, SUV, or similar vehicle. > > *Please contact Leslie Smith at:
