David Burtt has asked us to use the band room (not the Green Room) for our assembly/warm-up and I ask all members to arrive by no later than 6:30 pm for that. At 7 pm we will take our places in the theatre seating as audience members. Dress for the concert will be all- black with the HCB band shirts (or black top).
Also, it is important to let you know of two date changes coming up. First is that our Kiwanis Festival performance is now on April 30th at Seton Hall at Mount St. Vincent University rather than the May 7th date that was posted earlier. Details regarding our performance time are not yet finalized but the festival will be letting me know by next week.
Second, our proposed Combined Concert with Fiona’s Halifax Regional Arts Senior Band and the Halifax Concert Band is being moved to the Fall so there will be no performance on April 23rd. There will be a regular rehearsal that night instead. The new date will be announced in September.
Thanks and see you on Tuesday, March 19th. Dave
