The HCB performance for the HMCS Sackville Benefit performance will run from 1:30 pm to 3 pm on Saturday, September 28th on the boardwalk area behind the Maritime Museum (by the Wave) which is located on the waterfront directly behind the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.
I would like everyone to please meet at the performance location by 1 pm on Saturday and give yourself ample time to find parking in the pay lots near the venue or on the streets surrounding the waterfront area.
Also, anyone who can help with set-up of chairs, etc for the performance are asked to meet at the venue anytime after 12:45 pm.
There is a room provided in the museum for cases and coats and you will be directed to that area when you arrive at the Anchor Yard site.
Also, please bring your own music folders, music stand and clothes pins to secure the music. Dress for the performance is the band shirts, black pants/skirt and black shoes/socks. If you don’t have a band shirt yet, please just wear all black. Also, consider bringing a wind breaker or warm jacket.
Please note: There is no rain venue or rain date for this performance. Cancellation notification will be via email from Bob Kanygin to all members before 12 noon on the day of the performance.
Please don’t hesitate to email Bob or to call my cell at (902) 266-3365 with any concerns regarding this performance.
Thanks and see you at rehearsal on Tuesday! Dave
