Hello everyone,
A reminder of our upcoming rehearsal on Tuesday, May 5th. We will be rehearsing at my school, instead of Halifax West:
*Leslie Thomas Junior High* 100 Metropolitan Ave Lower Sackville, NS B4C 2Z8
The front doors will be open at *6:00 PM *(with a 6:30 start as usual). When you enter, go down the stairs directly ahead of you, then turn left—you’ll find the band room. (Or simply follow the sound of the group!).
A quick note about the space: it is smaller, with lower ceilings and brick walls, so it will be noticeably louder. Please adjust as needed. Keeping cases under your chairs (Not the tubas obviously) and jackets on the backs of chairs will help absorb some of the sound. There should be enough stands for everyone, so no need to bring anything extra!
I’ll be there around *5:45 PM* to starting setting up. If you’re available to help, feel free to arrive anytime after 6:00.

Chorale warm up – Nimrod – Mercer’s March – First Suite – Themes from an Outdoor overture – Summer – Beatles – How To Train your Dragon
If we have time, we will do some parts of Egmont Overture
