Hi all, I really appreciate everyone’s concern for my well-being with my positive COVID results. I am feeling much better but, as it stands now (Saturday noon), I am still testing positive.
My goal is to be ready and well for Tuesday’s rehearsal in the Halifax West band room, beginning at 6:30 pm. The plan this week is to concentrate on our Kiwanis pieces.
I have decided that the two pieces we will present for the Kiwanis Festival will be: 1) Sarabande and Rigaudon (paired together) 2) A Scottish Rhapsody
Any remaining rehearsal time on Tuesday can be used to run other repertoire as we see fit.
Also, please be reminded that there will be a dress rehearsal on Monday night, May 1st at the West Band Room at 6:30 pm to run the festival music one more time.
Our performance is Tuesday, May 2nd at 7:30  pm at Seton Auditorium at Mount Saint Vincent University and I will provide details for meet time and place as I know them.

I regret to inform you that Dave Staples (our fearless leader) has tested positive for COVID-19. He has been unable to find another conductor, so rehearsal tomorrow night is cancelled. See you on April 25.

It was mentioned at the rehearsal on Tuesday that Dave was playing at the Lion’s Head Tavern (3085 Robie St, Halifax,) on Sunday April 16. It was suggested that if you want to see the performance, you should make a reservation (*902-455-0181*)

Hi all,
Thank you all very much for an excellent showing at our shared concert with the Halifax West bands last Tuesday night. We seem to continue to peak with our live performances!! Well done!

Also, just so everyone is aware, we have been given a better performance time for our Kiwanis Music Festival concert on Tuesday evening, *May 2nd*. We will now be on at *7:30 pm* that night at *Seton Auditorium*. I will provide more details concerning that event as we get closer to the date.
